Your best weekends shouldn’t cost you the most.

Commission-based booking platforms take a cut of every booking, so the busier you get, the more you pay. Slide to your monthly online booking revenue and see the difference.

6% is a typical per-booking fee on commission-based booking platforms. Change it to match what you pay now.

Online booking

A checkout guests actually finish, on their phone.

Most of your guests book from a phone, often from the parking lot. Every step is one thumb-sized decision.

  1. Activity Axe throwing, rage room, laser tag or a combo.
  2. Package Your packages, your prices.
  3. Group size Lanes are assigned automatically: 1–4 guests is one lane, 6 guests is two.
  4. Date & time Only times you can actually deliver are shown.
  5. Extras Add-ons that lift every order.
  6. Pay Price calculated on the server, with each tax line shown.

Canadian venues show GST + PST or HST; US venues set their own sales tax. Tax is set per venue.

Built not to break on a Saturday

Zero double-bookings. Zero lost payments.

The hard parts of booking software happen at the same second: two families grabbing the last lane, a payment arriving twice, a card clearing after the hold ran out. Nitro Venue handles each one.

The database says no

Double-bookings are blocked by the database itself, not just the screen, even when two people tap “book” on the last lane at the same moment.

Held while they pay

A time is held for a few minutes during checkout. If the guest walks away, it frees itself so you can sell it again.

Unfinished checkouts come back

Abandoned checkouts appear in a list for staff and get a reminder email, which stops as soon as the guest books or opts out.

Your Stripe, your payouts

Payments go straight to your venue’s own Stripe account. You keep your payouts and your relationship with your processor.

One payment, one booking

Duplicate payment notifications never create duplicate bookings. A payment that lands after a hold expired is re-booked automatically or flagged for staff, never silently lost.

Buffers that stay out of the way

Setup and cleanup time is kept separate from the time you advertise. Block a broken lane or close for a holiday in seconds.

Waivers, included

Every guest signed before they reach the desk.

No clipboards, no tablet queue at check-in, no extra waiver subscription. Waivers come with every plan.

  • The booker gets an invite link to share with the group chat
  • Everyone signs their own waiver on their own phone
  • Parents and guardians sign for kids without being counted as a player
  • Staff see “8 of 10 signed” on the booking before check-in
  • The exact wording each guest signed is locked forever

Staff dashboard

Run the whole night from any phone.

No front-desk PC required. Your team sees every lane, room and session at a glance, and every action they take is recorded.

Check in fast

Search by name, phone, email or reference. See waiver progress and check the group in.

Desk payments, no re-charge

Record cash or card-at-desk payments. Recording a payment never charges the guest again.

Phone & walk-in bookings

Book a caller or a walk-in in seconds, or text them a payment link.

Refunds in a tap

Full or partial refunds, straight back through Stripe.

Manager overrides, logged

Only managers can change a price or go over capacity, and the reason is kept permanently.

An “Attention” tab

Payment problems and unfinished checkouts in one list, so nothing slips through.

Built for multi-activity venues

Lanes, rooms and open sessions in one calendar.

Some activities are one group per lane. Others are a shared session with a head count. Most venues have both. Nitro Venue handles both, and combos of the two.

Made by operators

Built inside a real venue.

Built by the team behind District 306 in Regina, Saskatchewan, where it runs axe throwing, a rage room and laser tag under one roof. Every feature here started as a real problem on a busy night: a lane double-sold, a waiver line out the door, a payment that went missing. We built the fix, and now we’re opening it to other venues.

FAQ

Questions venue owners ask us.

How can it be a flat US$149 with no per-booking fees?

Because software doesn’t cost more to run on your busy Saturday than on a quiet Tuesday. We charge for the software, not a slice of your sales. Unlimited bookings, staff, lanes and rooms, and waivers, are all in the one price.

Are there any other fees?

Not from us. Stripe charges its standard card processing fees on each payment, the same as any Stripe account, and those go to Stripe, not to us. We never add a fee to your guests’ checkout.

Do I need a Stripe account?

Yes. You connect your venue’s own Stripe account (or create one during setup), and guest payments are paid into it directly. We never hold your money, and you keep your own payouts schedule.

How do taxes work in Canada and the US?

Each venue sets its own tax lines, for example GST 5% and PST 6% in Saskatchewan, or HST in provinces that use it. US venues set their sales tax rate. The price is calculated on the server and every tax line is shown to the guest and on the receipt. You still file and remit your taxes as usual.

Are online waivers legally valid?

Every guest signs their own waiver, guardians sign for minors, and the exact wording each person signed is stored and locked so it can’t change later. Whether a waiver holds up depends on its wording and where you operate, so we recommend having a lawyer in your province or state review your waiver text. We don’t provide legal advice.

Can I switch from the booking software I use now?

Yes. During early access we set up your activities, packages, lanes, hours, prices and taxes with you. You can run both side by side while your existing bookings play out, and staff can enter any upcoming bookings as phone bookings.

Can it handle open sessions like laser tag or jump times?

Yes. Activities can be private units (one group per lane or room) or shared capacity (sell spots until a session is full), and you can combine them in one booking.

Who owns my guest and booking data?

You do. Each venue’s data is isolated from every other venue, we don’t sell it or share it, and if you ever leave, ask and we’ll send you a copy.

Is there a contract?

No. It’s month to month, and you can cancel anytime.

What hardware do I need?

None beyond what you have. Guests book on their own phones, and staff use any phone, tablet or computer with a modern web browser.

What does “early access” mean?

Nitro Venue is running at District 306 and still being built out. Early-access venues get set up personally by our team and have a direct line to shape what we build next. You can try the guest booking demo now; it’s a demo venue, so payments there are pretend.
